About Sakura
Because soy sauce is originally an Asian product, it might seem strange that Sakura is made in Brazil. The story begins over 80 years ago in 1936, when Mr Suekichi Nakaya arrives in Sao Paulo after a long journey from Japan to Brazil. He started taking shoyu and miso for friends and family, which was a great success and the foundation of the Sakura products we know today.
