Lipton’s Ceylonta tea is grown on the furtile, former coffee fields of Sri Lanka. These fields were in the past used to grow coffee, which prepared the soil for its current use: growing premium tea. Ceylonta tea is made from the first pick of fresh leaves and then processed with care to create the best tea. It has a BOPF grade, which is much sought after in this type of tea and the highest grade. Tea with this grade has a nice, strong taste and small tea leaves.

A rich history

Ceylonta tea is invented by Sir Thomas Lipton, founder of the trusted brand Lipton. Back in 1890, he was traveling back from Australia to his homeland, Scotland. Luckily, he decided to make a stop in Sri Lanka. This is when he discovered Ceylonta tea, and made sure it was internationally known. Nowadays, people all over the world enjoy a daily cup of this delicious, premium tea.
