Lockdown limits supply
COVID-19 Update: The Philippines
Lockdowns all over the world, have a great impact on the global flows of goods. On the 11th of march, The Philippines reported their highest level of COVID-19 cases in six months. To slow down the spread of the virus, parts of the country are under lockdown.
What does this mean for you?
Most of the new cases are in Metro Manila, where officials have been quarantining compounds, streets, neighborhoods and even hotels. Because it is harder for people to get to their work in factories, ports and container ships, the flow of products is slowed down dramatically. Currently, we still have stock in Philippine products, but we expect a shortage soon.
Order on time!
If you want to be sure to have enough stock, and your space allows it, we would advise you to purchase Philippine products in time. Because of the uncertain situation, shortages may occur.
